Event Details
Grammy, Tony, and Emmy Award-nominated singer, songwriter and actor Josh Groban has entertained fans across the globe with his multi-platinum albums (over 35 million sold worldwide) and electrifying live performances. He has appeared in multiple films and TV shows, and starred on Broadway in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, which Time Out New York called, “one of the best musicals of the decade.” Over the past year Josh released his latest album Harmony, a collection of timeless songs, and has performed a series of intimate concerts streamed to audiences all over the world.
Groban maintains his position as the consummate American showman in 2021 and beyond. He remains an active arts education philanthropist and advocate, and his Find Your Light Foundation helps enrich the lives of young people through arts, education and cultural awareness.
Important Information
Please note that the Josh Groban tour is now requiring all patrons to provide PRINTED proof of full vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test in order to attend.
All patrons must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose) and provide proof of vaccination - either the original vaccination card or a printed copy of the vaccination card, or must have received a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48 hours of the concert date, and provide printed proof of the negative result prior to entering the venue.
Unvaccinated patrons under 12 years of age must have received a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48 hours of the concert date, and provide printed proof of negative result prior to entering the venue.
Christopher Newport University and the Ferguson Center for the Performing Arts require patrons to wear face coverings at all times while inside the venue.
This will be a very special season opening concert, bringing us together once again to share the joy of live performance. We also realize that this new requirement from the Groban tour may present challenges for some, and so refunds may be requested through Monday, September 13, at 5 p.m. by emailing tickets@cnu.edu or by calling the ticket office at (757) 594-8752.
Otherwise, patrons will receive detailed information during the week of Sept. 13 regarding the check-in process.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
