Drew Gasparini

Drew Gasparini is an award-winning composer/lyricist, and a performing singer/songwriter. His album “I Could Use A Drink: The Songs Of Drew Gasparini” spent six weeks on the iTunes top 100. He was a contributing songwriter on season two of NBC’s “SMASH,” and his songs have been heard on CMT’s “Gainesville,” Oxygen’s “The Next Big Thing,” and NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” Concerts of his work have been performed at venues all over the world including the Kennedy Center in D.C., Lincoln Center in NYC and the St. James Theater in London, to name a few. Some of his musicals include “Crazy, Just Like Me” (Winner of 2011 NYMF Best of Fest), “Turn of the Screw” (book by Michael Kimmel, Lincoln Center), “Make Me Bad” (book by Alex Brightman, Bloomington Playwrights Project) and “The Up/Down” which is an ever-changing song cycle based on autobiographical events and stories from Gasparini’s life.

Currently he is writing music and lyrics for an adaptation of the movie “Night Shift” for Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, an adaptation of the novel It’s Kind of a Funny Story for Universal Theatrical Group and an adaptation of the novel The Whipping Boy (the latter two with Alex Brightman writing the book). He is signed to Razor&Tie Music Publishing and is one-third of the band Saint Adeline that he founded with his two sisters.
