Being a writer isn’t easy — #1 New York Times best-selling author Brad Meltzer had his first novel rejected 24 times. Not to be deterred, he penned a second, “The Tenth Justice,” which became an instant New York Times bestseller. “Dead Even” followed a year later and also hit the bestseller list, as have all eight of his novels. In addition to his fiction, he’s written three non-fiction books, comics and TV scripts. Meltzer also hosts “Brad Meltzer’s Decoded” on the History Channel. Raised in Brooklyn and Miami, Brad is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Columbia Law School. His newest book, “The Fifth Assassin,” is about a serial killer re-creating the crimes of all the presidential assassins from John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald. His first novel sits on a shelf at home, published via a copier store.
